About Me

Hi!  I’m Ashley and I’m an everyday woman.  I work part-time, I’m a first time homemaker, and I love the outdoors, books, my husband and my dog (not necessarily in that order).  I live what most consider to be a normal life.

So why am I writing a blog?

Everyone says if you want to enrich and improve your life you need to think outside the box.  You need to go way beyond your comfort zone to shake things up and find yourself and your true life.

And that’s great if you need to find yourself and your true life.  But I’ve found mine.  I like who I am and like my life.  I don’t need any major changes, I need minor changes to my life.

So I decided to challenge myself to expand my box, not jump outside of it.

And what will you be reading about in my blog?

I will give myself challenges, usually weekly, but sometimes shorter or longer, to expand my boundaries and bring more happiness and experiences into my life, without rocking my world or changing my base life.

I will write about my experiences, my fears, my great moments, my bad moments, and what I’ve learned through my challenges.

Job: I work part-time in the pet care industry and care for the home.
Location: NC, I was born and raised here – my husband is a wannabe Southerner from up North
Hobbies: super-active and exercise almost every day, reading, baking, pinning (I have a slight addiction to Pinterest), blogging and always looking for more ways to add fun hobbies into my life.

So that’s me: expanding my box, not going outside of it.
